1967 TASCO 10TE 76.2 REFRACTOR TELESCOPE

Found at a yard sale in 2013,
this 1967 Japanese made Tasco 10TE 76.2 refractor telescope came with the original dovetailed wood box and accessories.
The telescope was complete, except for the sun filter and one of the slow motion cables.

The problem was... the scope was not only used, but abused during its life.
The lenses were dirty, the paint banged up, the focuser damaged, etc. Basically, everything needed help.
Even with the extensive damage, I decided to try and restore this classic telescope back to its former glory.
After 3 years of restoration (on and off), the telescope is finished!
